The Salem Regional Medical Center (SRMC) Foundation and the Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A have partnered to raise funds in support of breast cancer awareness.

Chick-fil-A will stop at SRMC on Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to sell lunch items that include sandwiches, waffle chips, and cookies.

Food tents will be set-up in the front parking lot across from the hospital off of East State Street.

Ten percent of all proceeds from lunch items sold will be given to the SRMC Foundation to support cancer care services.

"The great people at Southern Park Mall Chick-fil-A are partnering with the SRMC Foundation in our fight against breast cancer. We invite the community to come out and enjoy Chick-fil-A's delicious food, in support of this worthwhile event," said Amy Reed, SRMC's Director of Development.

The Chick-fil-A tents will be up rain or shine and will accept cash, credit, and debit cards.

Chicken sandwiches will be on sale for $5 with cookies and waffle chips being $2.
