2/3 cup half and half

2 eggs

1 Tbsp. honey

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. cinnamon

¼ tsp. nutmeg

1/8 tsp. salt

1 Tbsp. butter

 8 stale donuts, sliced in half

Powdered sugar and maple syrup, for serving

In a large bowl, combine half and half, eggs, honey, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt.

In a large skillet over medium-low heat, melt butter. Quickly dip donut halves in custard mixture, then place in skillet. Cook about 2 to 3 minutes per side, until golden. Serve topped with powdered sugar and syrup.
