YPD cites driver for multi-vehicle crash on Market Street

Youngstown Police have cited one person following a multiple vehicle accident on Youngstown's south side.

The crash happened Tuesday evening near the intersection of Market Street and Hylda Avenue.

Police say the crash was caused by a driver traveling at a high rate of speed.

According to officials on scene, multiple people were transported to the hospital.

As of Wednesday morning, the victims were in stable condition.

Market Street was blocked off in the area while traffic officers investigated.
