The Howland boys' soccer team is playing for their first state championship following a 3-2 win over Lexington at Barberton High School.

The Tigers play Tipp CIty at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday at MAPFRE Stadium in Columbus.

Howland becomes the first Trumbull County school to play for a boy's state soccer championship.

The Tigers led 1-0 before Lexington tied it at 1-1.  Lexington led 2-1 in the second half before the Tigers tied it at 2-2.  Howland scored the game-winning goal with 3:00 left.
