One person injured in South Raccoon Road head-on crash

One man is hospitalized following a head-on crash during Friday's icy morning commute in Canfield.

Deputies tell 21 News that it happened around 8 a.m. just south of the Austintown Log Cabin on South Raccoon Road.

A vehicle failed to negotiate the curve, causing the crash.

There is no word on the condition of the victim.

Traffic was shut down along that part of South Racoon while the crash was being investigated.
