WBCB, The Valley’s CW, will televise the Missouri Valley Football Conference game between Youngstown State University and the University of South Dakota this Saturday, November 9th.  The game will begin at 3:00 p.m., live from the Dakotadome in Vermillion, South Dakota.

Last week the Penguins (5-4, 1-4 MVFC) dropped a 56-17 decision to #1 North Dakota State at home.  South Dakota (3-6, 2-3) lost on the road to Western Illinois, 38-34.

The series between the two schools is relatively new - beginning in 2012 - with YSU holding a 6-1 lead over USD.  The Penguins won last year's match-up, 29-17, at Stambaugh Stadium.

Offensively, the Penguins are the #2 scoring team in the conference at 34.0 points per game.  The Coyotes have the top passing offense at 275.2.

Individually, South Dakota QB Austin Simmons leads the MVFC with 272.0 passing yards per game and 21 TD passes.  YSU RB Joe Alessi has the fourth most rushing yards with 691.
