Valley Congressman Tim Ryan said he's ready to help with the Lordstown Motors Corporation after the business purchased the idled General Motors plant.

Ryan said he'd be looking into the loans available to the business from the Department of Energy and is excited about the company's desire to work with the United Auto Worker's Union.

"You know UAW workers are making good money. I mean, they're making 25, 30 bucks an hour, so I hope we can get that livable wage here because so many families have moved and taken that money out of our local economy," Ryan said.

Lordstown Motors Corporation hopes to start production by the end of 2020.
