A Youngstown man was in court today to answer more than 70 sex charges involving minors.

Dustin Ruiter, 44, was arraigned in Mahoning County Court of Common Pleas Wednesday for 75 total counts, 32 of which were felony rape.

Ruiter pleaded not guilty, and his bond was deferred to trial.

He was secretly indicted by the Mahoning County grand jury last week and was later picked up and booked by the US Marshals.

According to the indictment, the sexual assaults involve three different victims ages 16, 15 and 14 and occurred from November of 2018 until June of 2019.

If found guilty, Ruiter faces up to 352 years in prison,  based upon felony rape sentencing guidelines posted by the Ohio Supreme Court.
