Home catches fire after alleged explosion in Warren

Trumbull County fire crews worked to control a blaze that started after an alleged explosion Monday morning. 

The fire started just after 4 a.m. on the 1700 block of Sweetbrier Avenue SW in Warren.

Dispatchers said the 911 caller told them they heard an explosion before seeing flames at the neighbor's house. 

She said her house was also becoming smokey and had to evacuate with her husband, according to initial reports.

Warren fire crews said everyone was evacuated safely, and no injuries were reported. 

A disaster relief organization was on scene to board up the home.
