Farrell and Clairton have met in the state semi finals before.  The Bears have won all four previous games at this juncture.

"They're a great program down there," said Farrell Coach Anthony Pegues, "But we're the defending state champions, so to get to the state championship game it goes through us."

Pegues, in his first season as the Steelers Head Coach,  has led them to a 10-2 record,  including 10 wins in a row.

"We're tired of them talking down on us," said Steelers quarterback Raymond Raver. "It's time for us go get back at them."

Clairton is standing between the Steelers and a chance to win back to back state championships.

"We're not going to look past them, Its the game of the year, so we're going to stay focused and work hard at practice." said receiver Brian Hilton.

The Steelers and Bears play Friday at 7:00 pm at North Allegheny High School.
