The Poland football team saw it's hopes of a state championship appearance come crashing down in a loss to Licking Valley.

The Bulldogs led 24-10 midway through the fourth quarter, but that's when the tables turned.

Logan Bragg connected with Bodee Creech to make it a 7-point game with less than seven minutes to go in the game.

After a high snap on a Poland punt, the Panthers took over at the 15-yard line.  Two plays later, Bragg and Creech hooked up once again, making the score 24-23.

Licking Valley converted a two-point conversion to take a 25-24 lead.  The Panthers would hold on earn a spot in the state championship game.
