The city of Warren will be holding its annual Christmas in the Square event on  Friday, December 6. 

This free event will be taking place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Courthouse Square in Warren. 

The parade will start at 6 p.m. from Perkins Drive and continue around the square. 

Events include Lighting of the Christmas Tree, musical performances, carriage rides, games, shopping, Christmas characters, and more.  

There will be free parking on the street and in the Franklin Street Parking Deck. 



The event and parade will be causing some road closures from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. 

- Mahoning Ave. at High and Market 

- Market St. at Mahoning and Park

- Park Ave., lane closest to the square

- High St. at Park at Mahoning

Altered traffic patterns will occur, as well. 

- You will be able to turn onto Washington St. but not continue straight down Mahoning

- Monroe St., NW at N. Park there will be no traffic at all during parade line-up until the parade starts
