OSHP investigating fatal Vienna Twp. crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol Warren Post is investigating a one-vehicle fatal crash that occurred Saturday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m.

The accident occurred on Warren Sharon Rd. in Vienna Township.

A 2015 Ford Escape was driving westbound when the car drove left of center then off the left side of the road striking a utility pole. 

The driver was transported to St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown.

The driver, Alice P. Morrison, 81, of Vienna was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Morrison was the only occupant in the car.

Investigators say the driver was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. 

Vienna Township Police Department, Vienna Township Fire Department/EMS and Brookfield Township EMS assisted at the crash scene. 

The crash remains under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol Warren Post.
