Penguin City Beer releasing Peach Ale inspired by cookie table contest winner

Penguin City Brewing Company has announced a new variation based on a cookie featured at last year's Cookie Table and Cocktails benefit.

According to the company's Facebook page, the "Peach Champagne Ale" was inspired by the 2019 winning cookie, the "Pesche Con Crema" by Christy Fullwood.

The beer will be officially released Thursday evening at the B&O Station.

The Peach Champagne Ale features peaches from White House Fruit Farm.

After the release party, the beer will be available at grocery stores, bars, and restaurants in the area.

The 8th Annual Cookie Table and Cocktail will take place on February 29th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Basilica Social Hall.
