Mercer County now has a free community clinic.
According to the release, Joshua's Haven City Mission announced the free community clinic and will hold a ribbon-cutting Thursday at 2 p.m.
The free community clinic is the first of its kind in Mercer County.
The mission of the free clinic is to expand services of Joshua's Haven to those that are uninsured.
The Haven settled into their location on Stambaugh Avenue, which already had a nurse's office and examination room.
With its mission to Feed, Shelter, and Share, Joshua's Haven is expanding its mission to follow the Healing Ministry of Jesus as it "Goes forth in a new way to serve our Shenango Valley," said Pastor/Founder Sherry Swetz.
