The men and women on the front lines of the battle against coronavirus in Columbiana County are now limiting contact with the pubic to emergencies only.
The Columbiana County Health District announced that as of Wednesday, March 24, 2020, their office would be restricting interaction with the public to only in the case of an emergency.
According to a media release from the health department, the change in service will allow the office to focus its staff and agency resources on the COVID-19 response.
The front office will be temporarily closed to the public, and nonessential field inspections will be suspended.
People with emergency service needs may contact the department via phone, fax, or e-mail. Paperwork may be submitted to the office by mail, fax, or e-mail.
