Comfort Care-a-van is expanding their services to grocery shopping and delivery. The services are free to seniors aged 60 and over in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana Counties.

The process is simple, you can go to the Comfort Care-a-van website or call 330-747-3541 to place your order over the phone.

But first consumers will need to provide documentation that they are over the age of 60. Along with a credit/debit card, your home address, and a list of items you would like to purchase. SNAP is also accepted.

The groceries get delivered straight to your door so that you don't have to leave your home.

Dave Mirkin, president of Comfort Keepers, says all delivery drivers will be wearing masks and gloves, and will be following the social distancing guidelines as well.

Shopping and delivery times will vary, expect the order to be completed and delivered within 48 hours of order.

In the event a product is out of stock, the next closest alternative to the product will be purchased.
