Trumbull County Family Court will reopen to the public on June 21 after addressing safety issues and complying with federal and state recommendations in place during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The courtrooms of Judge Sandra Stabile Harwood and Judge Samuel F. Bluedorn have made several modifications to the court in order to keep the public and staff protected during the outbreak.
Anyone entering the Family Court building will be required to wear a face-covering and must comply with a screening process which will include a temperature check and a series of questions.
Social distancing will be enforced and the building will be limited to essential parties.
Clear safety panels have also been added to courtrooms and offices as added barriers to reduce the spread of the virus through particles in the air.
