Attorneys for the Boardman man accused of threatening federal agents are asking for probation when he is sentenced Thursday.

Judge George J. Limbert accepted a guilty plea from Olsen in March to a charge of threatening to assault a federal law enforcement officer.

Back in December of 2019, Olsen entered an agreement where he pleaded guilty to that charge, so a second charge of making an interstate communication threat could be dropped.

The charge comes after an indictment states Olsen threatened to "shoot every federal law agent on sight" in an online post back in June of 2019.

He was also accused of making threats to shooting up a gay bar and Planned Parenthood.

Agents also said they found an array of "stockpiled" weapons at his father's home on Oakridge Drive in August, including 10,000 rounds of ammunition and a machete in the trunk of his car.

Olsen could face a maximum of 10 years in prison.
