Suspect, bail bondsman exchange gunfire at Bristolville Dollar General

Police are looking for two suspects after gunfire was exchanged with a bail bondsman Saturday afternoon. 

The incident happened at the Dollar General on State Route 45 in Bristolville around 3:30 p.m.

Police say, a bail bondsman was trying to catch a woman that failed to appear for court.

An alleged accomplice with the woman came out of a Dollar General in Bristolville and jumped in his car.

Dispatchers say the suspect allegedly shot at the bondsman, causing him to return fire.

The bail bondsman was not hit.

Witnesses the driver drove their car into the store and backed it into a Jeep several times

That Jeep had been parked to block his car in.

Officials are looking for a 2002 silver Honda Accord, or Ford Focus, with heavy front end damage and a broken window.

Authorities say a man drove off with a woman, who is wanted for failing to appear in court to answer multiple criminal charges.
