While her father focuses on the battleground state of Pennsylvania, Ivanka Trump spent Saturday afternoon rallying voters outside in Canfield.

"Washington has not changed Donald Trump, Donald Trump has changed Washington," she said, while firing up the crowd ahead of Election Day.

Voters gathered outside at the Mahoning Career and Technical Center in the chilly weather bundled up, with many chanting "four more years".

Trump reassured the crowd that her father and the current administration will deliver a vaccine to end what they call the coronavirus plauge.

"We are on track to deliver a safe and effective vaccine by the end of this year," she said.

She says the president is working to protect the elderly and vulnerable from the COVID-19 virus, while keeping the economy open.

"President Trump will never surrender to the virus," she said. "He will defeat the plague, bring back our jobs, reopen this country and 2021 will be the greatest year on record."

The daughter and advisor to the president used MCCTC as her backdrop to talk about the economy and jobs.

She says that if President Trump is elected to a second term in office, the admininstration promises to offer vocational programs in every high school in the nation and school choice to all parents.

Ivanka Trump also took time to spotlight local couple Chip and Claudia Kovach, who operate City Machine Technologies, for investing in training they offer at the school for their employees. She says the company is one of 400 in the nation that have pledged to reinvest in their workers with special training programs.

Focusing on economics, Ivanka Trump touted the tax cuts, new trade deals and the growth in the energy sector under her father's leadership.

She warned what the campaign says could happen if former Vice President Joe Biden is elected.

"Joe Biden, well, he has pledged to ban fracking, which would eliminate 700,000 Ohio jobs," she said.

While the polls show the race is close in places like Ohio and Pennsylvania, some valley voters tell 21 News they're not concerned about the numbers.

"I'm very confident," Doris Layfield said. "I feel he's going to win by a landslide right on the 3rd."

Mark Carstens questions the polls.

"There's a lot of close Trump supporters out there that aren't being picked up in the polls," he said.

The president will focus on Pennsylavnia with four stops in the Keystone state on Saturday. The Biden-Harris campaign is planning on making stops in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
