Record-breaking warm temperatures that brought motorcyclists out early Tuesday also brought out the Ohio State Highway Patrol to respond to accidents involving some of those motorcycles.
Troopers were called to New Buffalo and Western Reserve Road at around 8 am to investigate was reported as an accident involving injuries.
When 21 News arrived at the intersection, we saw two motorcycles on their side. The patrol says both motorcyclists were taken to St. Elizabeth hospital.
There is no word on the names of the victims, or the circumstances surrounding the accident.
One lane of Western Reserve Road remained closed as of 8:30 a.m.
Within a half hour of that crash, the patrol was called to Interstate 680 where a motorcycle had reportedly been in an accident involving a deer.
Troopers had yet to arrive at that crash scene, but a caller said the driver of the cycle was walking around.
