When you think of the holiday season in Youngstown, Miracle on Easy Street comes to mind for many.
"So many people rely on this family tradition to get them in the spirit," says Maureen Collins, co-founder of Easy Street Productions.
The holiday tradition has been going on for over three decades, but the show will take on a new form for the first time.
"There's going to be lots of footage from past years, and there will be rascals who started when they were three, and now they're in their 30s," says Collins.
Rehearsals have been going on for well over a month, and while the COVID restrictions may have posed some challenges, Collins says their 32nd year will be that much more special.
"The hour-long special is going to be jam-packed with old, new, some great stories about how it all came to fruition and most of all, hopefully, it's going to get people into the Christmas spirit.," adds Collins.
While you can't attend the performance in person, you'll have four opportunities to watch it for free on 21 WFMJ or WBCB, December 16th, 19th, and on Christmas Day.
