Columbiana Co. coroner arrested on domestic violence charge

Columbiana County coroner Dr. Scott Wilson is facing a domestic violence charge following an alleged incident.

According to the report, the incident happened Tuesday morning around 10:45 a.m. at a home on the 1400 block of Jennings Avenue.

Reports say the female victim told police that she was punched in the face by Wilson.

Police say the woman had a black and blue bruise near her right eye.

According to the report, Wilson told police that the woman was lying.

Officers say both the victim and Wilson were highly intoxicated at the time.

Wilson was arrested on a domestic violence charge and was taken to the Columbiana County Jail.
