A Mahoning County Grand Jury has dismissed the charges against a man originally charged for a shooting death in Campbell.

The case for 28-year-old Charles Jennings was dismissed Tuesday.

He was accused of shooting and killing 28-year-old Quincy Little, who was the current boyfriend of a woman who lives with her three children at a home on Woodland Avenue.

The incident happened just after 1:30 a.m. Monday, October 5th.

According to investigators, Little had been in a nine-year relationship with the woman.

The children were home at the time of the shooting.

The shooting occurred outside of the home.

Since grand jury proceedings are conducted behind closed doors, it is not known why Jennings' charges were dismissed.
