Congratulations to Mathews Lady Mustangs guard Ashley Deans for reaching a career milestone Wednesday night. 

With about six minutes remaining in the 2nd quarter on the road against Maplewood, Deans scored to join the 1,000 career points club! 

Deans hit the milestone right on the nose, with a free throw that dropped through the net. The game was paused to recognize the accomplishment before Deans hit the second of her two free throws after being fouled.
