516 deaths reported from Valley long term care facilities since COVID pandemic began

The Ohio Department of Health has released an updated look at the Valley's coronavirus cases at long term care facilities.

Mahoning County has the most cases locally with 41 total followed by Trumbull and Columbiana counties with three cases each.

Below is a complete list of facilities with COVID-19 cases in the area.

Columbiana County - Three total cases, two residents, one staff member at two facilities.

Mahoning County - 41 cases, 31 staff members, 10 residents at 28 facilities.

Trumbull County - Three cases, two residents, one staff member at three facilities.

Since the beginning of the pandemic there have been 516 total deaths at long term care facilities in the Valley. 275 deaths have been in Mahoning County, 175 are from Trumbull County and 73 are from Columbiana County.
