Orwell bar cited for improper conduct, insanitary conditions

An Orwell bar has been cited by agents for a variety of violations.

Agents cited Colebrook Lounge on US-322 for improper conduct and insanitary conditions.

According to the release, agents found fixtures, equipment counters and utensils that were not cleaned along with alcoholic drinks not maintained in potable condition.

Officials also saw customers congregating and sitting in consecutive seats at the bar with little or no social distancing or barriers in place.

The citations were issued early Sunday morning and will go in front of the Ohio Liquor Control Commission for potential penalties, fines or the suspension or revocation of their liquor permit.
