Howland teen rape suspect jailed on $1M bond - WFMJ.com News weather sports for Youngstown-Warren Ohio

 An 18-year-old man from Howland remains held in the Trumbull County Jail on a $1 million bond after pleading not guilty to rape.

Larry Dirando of Shady Lane was arrested on a warrant issued by Weathersfield Police for an alleged rape that took place on May 30.

Bond was set for Dirando during a Friday hearing in Niles Municipal Court.

Judge Christopher Shaker also issued a criminal protection order for the alleged victim who has not been identified.

Another court hearing is scheduled for Wednesday.
