Mercer County man sentenced in teen's death

The roommate of a Mercer County father already sentenced for starving and murdering his son learned his fate this morning.

Paul Bacorn, 30, was found guilty in May of first-degree murder of 14-year-old Antonio Gonzalez Junior.

Bacorn will now spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole, plus 20 to 40 years.

Bacorn and Gonzalez were arrested in October of 2019 at the home they shared on District Road in Delaware Township.

The district attorney says this was the worst case of abuse he has ever seen.

Gonzalez Junior had died from low blood volume from blunt force trauma and also suffered from malnutrition.

Antonio Gonzalez has already been convicted in the case and was sentenced to life in prison.
