YSU phone service restored after day-long outage

Twenty-four hours after campus 911 and telephone lines were reported down at Youngstown State University, service has been restored.

A Penguin Alert message sent out shortly before 10:30 Wednesday stated that phones were back in service

During the outage people with cell phones needed to call YSU Police directly.
