Hartford motorcycle crash leaves one dead

A Wednesday evening motorcycle crash left a Brookfield man dead in Hartford Township.

Troopers say David S. Siege, 63, drove off the left side of the road while traveling north on State Route 7 just before 7 p.m. The motorcycle struck a tree and Siege was ejected from the bike.

He was transported by Brookfield Township EMS to Sharon Regional Hospital in Sharon where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The accident remains under investigation.
