YOUNGSTOWN - A mobile legal aid office is scheduled to make a stop in Youngstown on Friday to assess the community’s legal needs.

In cooperation with the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County and the Mahoning County Law Library, the Ohio Justice Bus will be at the Newport Library, 3730 Market Street, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021.

The bus is making an introductory visit to the Mahoning Valley to learn about the legal services residents want and need, so they can plan future legal clinics.

Staff on the bus are also interested in speaking with local attorneys and paralegals about volunteer opportunities.

The Ohio Justice Bus is a mobile legal aid office that travels the state to host civil legal clinics in partnerships with legal aid and pro bono attorneys to provide legal services to Ohioans at no cost to clients.
