Ohio State Highway Patrol getting new trucks to tackle weight violations

The Ohio State Highway Patrol unveiled a new vehicle today on their Facebook page.

The new trucks carry portable scales for weighing commercial where platform scales aren't around.

The new scale trucks will help tackle overweight violations in Ohio.

Overweight violations can cause crashes and damage to roadways.

State Troopers have not said how many of the vehicles will be added to their fleet.
