The Cleveland Guardians will officially welcome in their new era for the first time at Progressive Field next season, and will do it each year through 2036.

Cleveland City Council approved a lease agreement Monday solidifying the Guardians' home for the next 15 years, according to the Associated Press.

Through a partnership between the Guardians, the city of Cleveland, Cuyahoga County and the state, the team will now be able to plan renovations to the ballpark. Upgrades will be a part of a $435 million project, but won't begin until after the 2022 season at the earliest.
