12 families in the Mahoning Valley received some special gifts for their children with autism Saturday night at the Austintown Township Park.
The Mike Hull Fund and the Autism Society of Mahoning County teamed up to make sure that autistic children in the area wouldn't have to go without things they need.
The children were gifted laptops, computers, exercise bikes, boxing gloves and bag, along with other items.
The Mike Hull is honor of Mike Hall, who had a grand-daughter with autism, did not want to see families struggle to provide the things their children needed.
Money is raised for the Christmas gift during the Mike Hull Motorcycle Run in the summer. All proceeds from the run go to local families.
The Mike Hull Fund also helps set a summer camp for autistic children.
