A Liberty Township man who was arrested and charged for allegedly soliciting nude pictures and trying to pick up a 16-year-old girl with special needs was formally indicted on Tuesday by a grand jury.

The Trumbull County jury decided that Marcus Washington, 28, violated multiple Ohio laws. They found that Washington did posses or view material of the minor in a state of nudity. The indictment comes with two counts accusing Washington of illegal use of minor nudity oriented material or performance.

Reports said someone met the girl on a dating app and snapchat and convinced her to send pictures of her bare buttocks.

Washington was also indicted on one count of attempted interference with custody. The grand jury believed Washington used reckless behavior to try and lure the special needs girl into his custody and away from her parents. Police previously said Washington tried to stop at Niles McKinley High School in November and attempted to sign the girl out of class. School officials rejected his request.

Investigators said Washington admitted to being at the school on November 17. That falls within the same time that the grand jury accuses Washington of committing offenses.

Now Washington will be arraigned in a Trumbull County courtroom on March 17.
