Troopers say two people dead following fatal crash in Salem Township
The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed two people died after a two-vehicle accident south of Salem Wednesday morning.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol has confirmed two people died after a two-vehicle accident south of Salem Wednesday morning.
Troopers say 81-year-old Bernard Smith died after the Subaru Forester he was driving crossed the center line and collided with a truck along Route 45, south of Route 558 shortly before 9 a.m.
The Subaru's passenger, 80-year-old Lula Ann Smith, was pronounced dead after arriving at a nearby hospital.
The truck's driver was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Troopers are still investigating the incident, but say that all passengers were wearing seatbelts and drugs or alcohol were not a factor.
