Fans line up early in Boardman for year's supply of free tacos
Lovers of tacos were lined up before sunrise Thursday at a new restaurant in Boardman, hoping that they'll get free tacos for a year.
Condado Tacos, the restaurant chain known for 13 signature tacos as well as build-your-own tacos, opens its 33rd location at 11 a.m. in a new building across from Chick Fil A on Boardman Poland Road in Boardman.
The interior features murals created by local artists.
As part of the grand opening festivities, Condado is awarding the first 100 customers to show up on Thursday free tacos for one year.
One person arrived at 3 a.m. Thursday to be first in line.
The new restaurant offers more than tacos. Condado also serves up several flavors of margaritas and tequila.
Condado is open 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays, and until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.
