Sheely's celebrates 70th anniversary with donation program for Akron Children's Hospital

Sheely's Furniture and Appliance in North Lima is celebrating its 70th anniversary by giving back to the community.

According to Sheely's Principal Owner, Jessica Smith, the store will be offering customers $70 off every $1,000 spent when they donate to Akron Children's Hospital.  Additionally, customers can get 12 months of special financing.

Smith says Sheely's owes its success to its customers who have been loyally shopping there for years. 

"They know we offer a wide variety of styles for every budget," Smith said.

"Our educated and committed staff, many of whom have been with us for decades, is a major reason why we attract and maintain our customer base," added general manager and principal owner Jeff Curry.

Sheely's buyer and principal owner, Lance Romeo, says the store is not just reflecting on years past but also looking into the future. 

"You can look to Sheely's to continue to offer quality furniture and appliances for many decades to come," Romeo said.

The donation program will go on until September 10.
