A Liberty Township man is accused of choking a woman until she passed out and throwing her to the ground.

Adam Lipscomb, 38, was arrested Sunday on a charge of aggravated assault.

A 43-year-old woman who is in a relationship with Lipscomb told police that they were at her Logangate apartment when Lipscomb began screaming at her.

The woman said Lipscomb threatened to kill her, choking her three times, until she was unconscious.

According to a police report, the woman was also thrown to the floor, loosening two of her teeth.

The woman was taken to Mercy Hospital. That’s where police also arrested Lipscomb.

After being booked into the county jail, bond for Lipscomb was set at $12,500 during a video court arraignment on Monday.

The court also applied for a temporary protection order against Lipscomb.
