Three alarm fire damages home, garage in Mercer County

The Pennsylvania Fire Marshal is looking for the cause of a three-alarm fire that spread from a garage to a home early Tuesday.

Dispatchers were told that flames broke out in a two-story garage on the 1200 block of Brent Road in Springfield Township at around 1 a.m.

The first firefighter on the scene reported that the fire has traveled through the garage and was spreading to a house.

Fire departments from several communities were called out and worked until after 4 a.m to put out the blaze.

Dispatchers tell 21 News there are no reports of injuries.
