A 37-year-old Sharon man has been charged with 20 counts of possessing child pornography.

Rigoberto Naverrete was charged with allegedly having 20 images of child pornography, a second-degree felony, and facing 20 counts. He was also charged with criminal use of a communication facility - or use of a cell phone to commit a crime - a third-degree felony on Friday, Oct. 28. He was booked into the Mercer County jail.

Navarrete is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on November 9 in Judge Travis Martinwinski's court and is currently being held on $100,000 bail.
