BOARDMAN, Ohio - Customers at Wedgewood Fernando's Pizza in Boardman can feed themselves along with those in need on Thursday, which has been dubbed "National Pizza Day."

The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley is celebrating its 130th anniversary by partnering up with Wedgewood's Boardman location for a special buy-one-give-one incentive on Thursday, February 9.

For every pizza purchased on National Pizza Day, Wedgewood will be donating a pizza to feed those at the Rescue Mission.

"Partnerships like this just put a smile on your face. We can't wait to share a fun and delicious pizza party with our guests staying at the shelter and those individuals who look to the mission for meals," said Rescue Mission Chief Development Officer, Lynn Wyant.

The donated pizzas will be served for lunch on National Pizza Day beginning at noon.
