Fire at garage on Youngstown's south side spreads to power lines

 Fire crews are dealing with a fire on Youngstown's south side Thursday night.

Flames broke out at a detached garage near a home on the corner of Erie Street and E Chalmers Avenue around 9:36 p.m.

Firefighters found a fully involved fire when they arrived that was spreading to live power lines.

Officials believe the garage and home near it are vacant.

FirstEnergy is not reporting any power outages in the city as of 10:30 p.m.
