Valley restaurateur appears in court, warrant withdrawn

A judge has withdrawn a warrant for a Valley restaurant owner after he appeared in her court where he faces six cases of failing to file a tax report.
Christian Rinehart, 48, appeared before Youngstown Municipal Court Judge Renee DiSalvo on Tuesday, eight days after he failed to appear for a hearing. Judge DiSalvo issued a warrant for Rinehart at the time.
The final pretrial in the cases filed by the Ohio Department of Taxation is scheduled on May 8.
Rinehart is the owner of several restaurants in the Mahoning Valley including Odonold's Irish Pub & Grill in Youngstown, as well as Suzie's Dogs & Drafts and the adjacent Mission Taco along Route 224 in Boardman.
The businesses operated by Rinehart have been closed since early March. A note on the door to Odonold's in downtown Youngstown reads that the property has been "retaken by the landlord."
There have been no posts on Suzie's Dogs & Drafts Facebook page since March 12. The last message posted on Mission Taco's Facebook page was on April 9 wishing followers a happy Easter.
