Truck strikes overpass in Ellwood City, one dead

The Lawrence County Coroner is investigating a fatal traffic accident in Ellwood City.

A pickup truck ran into an abutment below a railroad trestle along Fifth Street near Beaver Avenue just before 7 p.m. Sunday.

There's no information yet on the identity of the victim.

Traffic was shut down under the overpass while police investigated.
