Boardman butcher shop closes its doors after nearly 40 years of serving the Valley

After nearly 40 years of serving the Valley, a butcher shop in Boardman has announced that it will be closing its doors for good.

Catullo Prime Meats, located on Tiffany Boulevard in a plaza housing other businesses like Marc's, Quality Mattress Outlet and Classic Bakery made the announcement on its Facebook page Saturday morning.

According to the post, owners, Danny and Angelo say they had made this decision based on "a multitude of factors."

"Although we are sad to come to this decision ... we find solace in the pride that comes with serving this Valley and beyond for three generations of quality food and the best customer service," the post said.

The owners concluded the post by thanking their loyal customers and asking them to share their best memories of the shop over the years.
