A Pennsylvania man has died after a motorcycle crash in Center Township Sunday afternoon.
According to OSP, the crash happened shortly after 3:00 p.m. Sunday when a motorcycle, driven by 42-year-old Joseph Balistrieri of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania traveled off the right side of the roadway on SR-172 and overturned.
Balistrieri was thrown from the motorcycle and was taken to the hospital via ambulance, but was later pronounced dead.
According to OSP, Balistrieri was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash and troopers believe he was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time.
OSP is reminding motorcyclists to ride trained and sober and wear a helmet while riding.
The Columbiana County Sheriff's Office and Lisbon Fire Department assisted on scene as well as EMT Ambulance.
