Woman flees accident on Glenwood Ave., causes second accident at busy Boardman intersection

Boardman police are saying that a woman in her 20s that fled an accident scene on Glenwood Avenue caused the additional 3-car crash Thursday morning in the township.

According to police, the woman was involved in an accident on Glenwood with another vehicle before 9 am, and fled the scene. 

Police told 21 News that the women ran the red light at Market Street and Midlothian Ave., causing another accident involving her vehicle and two others.

Police said the woman was charged with fleeing the scene of the accident.

The road has reopened and no one was injured in either crash. 

The woman was not arrested but further charges may be pending.
